Affiliate networks and media buyers live in their tracker. If a lead converts by phone and the tracker never hears about it, the affiliate who sent that caller goes unpaid, and the offer looks worse than it performs.
Keep the click ID with the caller
Every tracker stamps a click with an ID. Capture it on the landing page so it travels with the visitor, through the tracking number and onto the call record. Without it, a postback has nothing to match against.
Fire on qualified calls only
Choose the event that should count: a converted disposition, a minimum duration or a buyer payout. Firing on every ring floods the tracker with calls that never earned anything, and affiliate reports stop meaning much.
- Map the click ID into the postback URL.
- Pass the payout as well, so the tracker reports revenue and not just counts.
- Send it the moment the call qualifies, not in a nightly batch.

Keep the replies
Trackers answer every postback. Store the answer with the call, so when an affiliate says a conversion is missing you can see in seconds whether it was sent, what was sent and what came back.
In Avortyx the postback is a custom webhook: choose the conversion event, map the click ID and payout tokens into the URL, and each postback and the tracker’s response are stored on the call. There are guides for CAKE, HasOffers, LinkTrust and Voluum.
See it in your own numbers. Know where each call came from, send it to a buyer who can take it, and see what it earned.
